Study Days & Hours
Our study days and hours can refresh your skills and sharpen your insight in five different areas:
We’ve designed these days and hours to be as accessible as possible. We don’t ask you to prepare or read anything in advance, and there’s no assessment or formal award.
They are all intended for pastors with a good level of theological understanding, but they are open to any men or women interested in learning theology for ministry.
The costs of the days and hours are given on the different pages. If you are in full-time ministry and would like to attend but cannot afford to, please do let us know because we have a bursary fund set aside to help in such circumstances.
Please book by the Tuesday of the week before the teaching is due to occur. Bookings made later than that will cost an extra £5.00, and we may not be able to provide you with lunch.
“Attending a Pastors’ Academy Study Day at London Seminary was thoroughly worthwhile. As a pastor of a small church in a deprived district of a northern town, it’s not often I get the chance to be able to meet with others in an academic environment.
I attended a Hebrew Study Day, and I found that being able to come down to the Seminary and study the Hebrew text seriously was such a blessing to me. It brought great memories back from my university days, but also it brought the joys of Christian fellowship in the seminary environment.
I appreciated David Green’s efforts and time given teaching the day, and I appreciated the welcome I received, the nice lunch, and the availability of the library – it all contributed to a really great day which I thoroughly enjoyed.
