Elders are a great asset to a church. In the 1970s and 80s the churches rediscovered the Bible’s teaching on elders and plurality in church leadership. But while generally elders have been a blessing, sometimes they have made things worse for pastors and congregations. There are pitfalls to be avoided and principles to be applied. In this Study Day, three experienced men will help us to bring the issues into the open and rethink positively.
