This course is taught by Matthew Mason.
Our Lord Jesus began his public ministry with the command to repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15) and after his resurrection commissioned the apostles to preach repentance and the forgiveness of sins to all nations (Luke 24:47). Ongoing repentance lies at the heart of the Christian life. And the preaching of repentance is centrally important in faithfully preaching the gospel.
We will explore in detail what the Bible teaches about repentance, how to repent properly, and how repentance relates to other central theological truths such as sin, regeneration, faith, justification and sanctification.
